This is wonderful signed photo postcard of the legendary and tragic baritone Ettore Bastianini. Bastianini is in costume in the photograph, probably as Germont in La Traviata. He signed with a blue fountain pen and inscribed the photo to Serge Delfand, a French autograph collector who amassed a sizable group of opera autographs in the 1950s and 1960s. The photo measures approximately 5 ½ x 3 ½ in. It is unusual to find a Bastianini signed photo under $200; most are usually over $250.
