This is a vintage black & white signed photograph of Austrian opera bass Emanuel List. List inscribed the photo, “To Charles P. W. Blum / with best wishes / Emanuel List / Lake Placid / Aug. 1944.” The photo measures 5 ½ x 3 ½ in. It is in extra fine condition, with just a very small bit of dirt on left border of picture (see photo). The corners and edges are in excellent condition. (The scan appears to have some lines through the picture that are not in the photograph). Signed photos of opera singers James Melton, Item number A041, and Gladys Swarthout, Item number A042, also come from the Blum collection.
