This is a great First Day Cover (FDC) signed by legendary silent movie actress Lillian Gish. It has been postmarked June 8, 1982. The FDC celebrated the acting siblings, the Barrymores, Lionel, Ethel, and John Barrymore. There are drawings of all three Barrymores on the envelope, as well as on the stamp. The cover is in excellent condition. Some light shadows appear in the scanned photo that are not on the actual envelope (it is not dirty or stained).

This is a wonderful First Day Cover signed by two of the greatest actresses of the silent film era, Lillian Gish and Blanche Sweet. The FDC, dated May 27, 1975, celebrates the legendary silent movie director, D.W. Griffith, with whom both Gish and Sweet worked frequently. It's in excellent condition. There are some shadows on the scanned picture that are not on the actual cover. Don't pass up this unique collector's item.

This is a wonderful hand-written note from legendary silent film actress Lillian Gish. Gish wrote “Dear Mike Roberts, ‘Lillian Gish, The Movies, Mr. Griffith and Me,’ has just been republished by Prentice Hall in paperback. It answers your question in full — Lillian Gish.” The card measures 3x5 in. It is in excellent condition, but inks has faded a little.
