Here is a nice First Day Cover (FDC) celebrating the 50th anniversary of talking pictures. It is signed by actress Joan Fontaine. The envelope has been postmarked Oct. 6, 1977. A picture of Al Jolson, the star of the first feature length talking picture, The Jazz Singer, is on the cover. This is in excellent condition. Some light shadows appear in the scanned photo that are not on the actual envelope (it is not dirty or stained).
